Founded in 2010 in Newcastle, Australia, Safety MITS started in a small workshop with a big vision — to revolutionise safety and maintenance practices across heavy industry. Today, we are a trusted partner to major companies across Australia and globally, delivering industry-leading solutions that reduce manual handling risks and improve operational efficiency.
Since 2016, we have expanded into international markets, including the United States, South Africa, South America, Asia, and New Zealand, establishing a strong global footprint while remaining proudly Australian-owned.

Launch of Safety MITS (Mining Industrial Trade Supplies Pty Ltd) in Newcastle, Australia. Our first breakthrough product: the Tracked Elevated Device (TED) – a game changer in workshop safety.
Relocated to a new manufacturing hub at Newcastle. Released our innovative Zero G Tool Arm system and locally engineered MITS work platforms and gantries.
Expanded our range to include load-rated HDPE jacking and cribbing blocks, designed for heavy-duty stabilisation and made from durable, high-density polyethylene.
Expanded logistics with a second warehouse and distribution centre in Seven Hills, NSW.
Entered international markets including the USA, New Zealand, and Asia, marking a major step in our global growth.
Moved into a larger facility in Mayfield West, NSW to support increased production.
Became an authorised sales and technical partner for SPX Flow Technology (Power Team, Stone, and Globe brands).
Introduced the Australian-made BLOX Safety Supports, made from recycled high-density plastic, enhancing both safety and sustainability.
Expanded our international reach to South Asia and West Africa markets.
Achieved a major milestone by becoming the exclusive national distributor of the Zero G Tool Arm, reinforcing our position as a global leader in tool handling and safety systems.
